A fourth year Journalism Studies undergrad at Concordia University, Nav P's earliest musical influences hark back to Wu-Tang's Forever double-cassette album. Hardly satisfied with obscene lyrics he moved on to a strange obsession with Motown music in his early teens until he discovered Miles Davis' Kind of Blue. Not knowing exactly what he liked about the album he kept on listening to it over and over until it finally hit him. It was the dexterity that each musician brought that made the album greater than the sum of its parts.
